How do I book a trip?
When you know you are ready to book, call us or text us @ 850.368.4565 If you have any other questions before booking, give us a call at 850.368.4565. You can also contact us through email luckychuckychartersfl@gmail.com or social media (messaging) to book a trip.
Will you send a confirmation email?
Your captain, Lucky Chuck, will be in touch with you to firm up any details. He will meet you at the dock unless there is an issue. When you arrive in the Navarre are, you can us at 850.368.4565 to let us know you are here.
Is your boat kid friendly?
Absolutely, we cater to the next gen fishing fans!!
Does your price cover one person or the boat?
When you book a trip, you book the boat. You can bring up to six people. If you have more than 6 people, please call us to see if we can make special arrangements. It is the same whether you have one person or four persons. Anyone on the boat counts as a person, fishing or not from birth to Senior adult!
Is a deposit required?
No. But you can pay a portion or all via VENMO.
What if I want to cancel the trip?
Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans changes and you have to reschedule or cancel the trip.
What if the weather looks bad and I want to cancel?
We understand that you do not want to fish in horrible wind and rain. We want you to have the best trip possible! We will not fish in dangerous conditions and will discuss the weather & your options with you. The trip cancellation is determined by the captain. If it is a fishable day, Captain Chuck will want to fish.
What payments do you accept?
We accept cash, VENMO or personal check.
Can you pencil me in and I’ll get back to you?
Sure, for a couple of days. Captain Chuck books up quick.
What will we fish for?
Captain Chuck fishes it all. We fish the sound, Destin and Pensacola Passes and the Gulf of America. Fishing varies with the type of trip and the time of the year. When Captain Chuck calls you, he will let you know what we are currently catching. Typically, we are looking for redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder, sheepshead jack crevalle, and black drum for our inshore trips. You never know what beast you may catch offshore!!
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring whatever will make you comfortable on the boat. Pack a snack or lunch and plenty of water. Grab your sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat & go fishing!! The fishing part is all taken care of…bait, tackle, rods, reels, ice & licenses are included!
Do I need a license?
Nope. We’ve got you covered. If you are fishing on the beach or pier you will need one.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Absolutely bring your favorite rod or tackle, although you do not have to.
Do you fish with fly rods to fly fish?
We use inshore, light tackle for our trips…. You are welcome to bring your own fly rod!
Can I send my children on the trip without me?
Children are welcome but need a legal adult, parent or guardian to act as the responsible party for them if they are under 18 years old.
What if I just ride along and don’t want to fish?
Charters are available for 4-6 people and anyone on the boat counts toward that total.
Are lifejackets available?
Lifejackets are available at all times to children and adults upon request. If you would like to bring your own that is more comfortable, you are welcome to.
Is alcohol allowed on the boat?
Yes, alcohol is allowed for all legal age adults in can or tumblers. We do ask that you can maintain control of yourself and your party. Don’t make us call the Coast Guard! Seriously, make sure someone can drive you home.
Will our pictures be on a blog or social media?
We will take pictures of your catch throughout the day to use on our Facebook page, Instagram, Google+, and Pinterest. The captains may also use video footage to create videos from the season.
What do we do with the fish?
We encourage conservation to keep the fisheries growing. That being said, if you want and the fish you catch are legal, and edible, we will clean them and bag them up.
