What the heck’s a “Gator”? It common among fishermen around Navarre and Navarre beach to call any speckled seatrout over 21 inches in length a “Gator Trout”. Also, to protect the fisheries and keep them growing, we encourage our anglers to snap-a-pic of the gators they catch and return them to the water.
